Notes
If you would like to make your own pie crust, here is the recipe for that:
Pie Crust Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening {Butter flavored Crisco}
Ice Water
Pie Crust Directions:
Mix the flour and salt together.
Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until shortening is the size of large peas.
With a fork, add ice water a few tablespoons at a time until dough forms a ball - try not to over mix.
Chill the dough {wrapped in wax paper} for 15 minutes.
Roll out on a floured surface until about 14-16 inches in diameter and transfer to pie pan.
Crimp edges and trim off excess dough.
