There are no limits for ways you can plant lavender to grow in your garden. It is a relatively easy plant to grow and maintain, and it is quite hardy when the right care is taken to make sure it has what it needs.

Who says your lawn should be only meant to be a patch of grass? If you are not utilizing a grassy space in your yard, why not consider growing a beautiful bed of rows and rows of lavender?
It would be a wonderful sight to see outside of your window as you look out in the mornings!
I love these beautiful photos of estates with lavender fields surrounding the main building. If you have ever been to a working lavender farm, it is quite the site to see! It is breath taking and very inspiring!
Even if you do not have a lot of acreage, it is still an interesting idea to consider! Yes, these designs are from photos of actual lavender farms, but it would be just as beautiful in any suburban or urban setting!

Growing in containers also makes it possible to have a lavender garden indoors if you are able to meet the right lighting conditions!

Above is a beautiful arrangement photographed in an outdoor banquet space that shows just how well lavender can be used to accent other flowers growing in pots and containers. This would be very easy to recreate in just about any patio or deck setting!
Hang Pots on Garden Walls and Fences
These cheerful and colorful bright pots hanging along a side wall of concrete are a fantastic idea for growing an herb garden in a small space! And…with the plants up higher, guess what? The closer to your nose to smell them! 🙂
This is a very practical and colorful way to introduce lavender and other herbs in a kid’s garden and dress up a boring garden wall or fence.

There are many benefits to gardening with lavender! Lavender is a wonderful plant to attract beneficial bees, butterflies, and more to your garden.
The flowers of this plant are very fragrant. The plant is often dried to use in a number of different ways in your home. The dried flower blossoms can be used to create scented sachets and in making dried floral arrangements.
Lavender has also been used medicinally for many years, often cited for its many beneficial properties for health and wellness. Lavender is absolutely one of my favorite essential oils!

I love your idea of using any unused patches of grass or yard to grow lavender instead. My wife and I have found that gardening is a great way for us to reduce our stress levels and spruce up the way our home looks.
